Analysis of Paper Inventory Control Using the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Method at Salambar Paper Store, Tasikmalaya

The SALAMBAR Paper Shop encountered many problems managing raw materials and difficulties in managing its finances, which affected production and employee payroll. This research aims to find out how to implement paper inventory control carried out by the SALAMBAR Paper Shop, how to apply the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method in controlling paper inventory at the SALAMBAR Paper Shop. The method used in this research is a quantitative method based on SALAMBAR Paper Store data for 2023-2024. The analytical tool used is the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method, Lot For Lot (LFL), EOQ, and POQ techniques. Process data using the POM QM V5 application. Based on the research results, it is known that by applying the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) Method, Lot For Lot (LFL), EOQ, and POQ, the SALAMBAR Paper Shop does not need to reorder within a certain period, because it will increase the ordering costs again. So you can save more on the total costs incurred by the company.
